September 2024 starters
Thank you for attending our face to face meeting – please find below the powerpoint I shared with you and also the nursery prospectus. Remember if you have any questions between now and then Mrs Desai can answer them on the Class DOJO app – the slip for this was in your pack.
We look forward to welcoming you in September.
Mrs Sullivan
Nursery is such an important stage for children to learn personal, social, emotional and communication skills which will then enable them to develop early reading, writing and mathematical skills. Physical development is also very important within nursery. There will be lots of opportunities for them to strengthen their writing muscles. We use a variety of teacher led and child initiated activities to enable pupils to develop a love of learning through exploration and creativity – all of which happen through a play based approach.
We use the indoor and outdoor environments to access the 7 areas of learning throughout the day, whatever the weather! Our aim is to help the children to become passionate and enthusiastic learners and equip them with skills that they will build upon throughout their school lives. Nursery really is the best place to be! Please excuse any mud or paint on their clothes – it is just a sign of how much learning they have done!
