The Curriculum
We cover all school subjects at CPC. These are often slightly shorter to enable children to achieve goals and targets and be able to participate more fully than they may have done previously. All children are set personalised targets and their progress is discussed at termly reviews.
Nurture
Nurture work is key to seeing progress in SEMH needs. This uses a combination of PSHE, sensory activities, art and craft, meditation, gardening and cooking to address needs and find better ways of interacting with friends, family and the wider world.
Therapeutic approach
Our Thrive practitioner does one-to-one and group work with children to improve emotional wellbeing and social interaction. She also runs workshops for parents.
