As part of our transport project, we visited River Road bus garage. The children were very sensible and asked good questions. We learnt about the different jobs people do at the garage, as well as how i-bus tracks bus activity remotely and why there are new types of buses being made.

We used a range of ingredients to make a healthy snack in the shape of a vehicle as part of our transport topic. We even used lettuce from our garden!

As part of our half term’s work on Fiesta, we learnt about Mexico’s Day of the Dead. We used different tools to shape the clay.

This term we have been learning about different festivals. We made this collage to celebrate the Spanish festival of La Tomatina.

We have been learning to make our own dinners. Here are our samosas we made, linked to our learning about Ramadan in RE.

This week, CPC have been learning about Jackson pollack. We researched the artist then we made this group artwork outside. Look out for how we applied Pollack’s ideas to our cooking session, coming soon!

CPC Making snowmen

The CPC children are getting into the festive spirit by making snowmen from socks! We had a lot of fun making them this week so we’ll be doing another batch to improve our skills and make enough to give our friends and family.
