Eating a healthy lunch every day is really important for children’s development and for their teeth. It helps children stay fit and well, feel energised and be ready to learn.
Our school dinners are already healthy and balanced, but if you stick to the green foods below and only include amber foods occasionally, then your child’s packed lunch can also be healthy.
Please only provide water for drinking (there is always water available at school).
Be Safe!
- Please do not bring in nuts. This includes nut-based foods such as Nutella and peanut butter. Please check on the packaging whether the product contains nuts. We are a nut free school!
- For younger children, please cut grapes, tomatoes and blueberries into half lengthways, due to the size and possible choking hazard.
