Nursery is such an important stage for children to learn personal,\nsocial, emotional and communication skills which will then enable them to develop\nearly reading, writing and mathematical skills. Physical development is also\nvery important within nursery. There will be lots of opportunities for them to\nstrengthen their writing muscles. We use a variety of teacher led and child\ninitiated activities to enable pupils to develop a love of learning through\nexploration and creativity \u2013 all of which happen through a play based approach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We use the indoor and outdoor environments to access the 7 areas\nof learning throughout the day, whatever the weather! Our aim is to help the\nchildren to become passionate and enthusiastic learners and equip them with\nskills that they will build upon throughout their school lives. Nursery really\nis the best place to be! Please excuse any mud or paint on their clothes \u2013 it\nis just a sign of how much learning they have done!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
