What is Ofsted?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ofsted is the Office for Standards in Education, Children\u2019s Services and Skills. They inspect and regulate services that care for children and young people, and services providing education and skills for learners of all ages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ofsted aim to be \u201ca force for improvement through intelligent, responsible and focused inspection and regulation\u201d (Ofsted 2017 to 2022 strategy<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What do they do? <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Every week, Ofsted carry out hundreds of inspections and regulatory visits throughout England and publish the results online.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Their goal is to achieve excellence in education and skills for learners of all ages, and in the care of children and young people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At James Cambell primary school we value the opinions of all of our parents and carers. Leaving your opinion on Parent View, gives us the opportunity to address any issues as well as celebrate our successes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Parent View gives you the change to tell Ofsted what you think about your child’s school, from the quality of teaching to the way we deal with bullying and inappropriate behaviour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The survey can be completed at any time; you don’t have to wait until the school is being inspected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Challenge Partners Quality Assurance Reviews<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The school receives expert external quality assurance from Challenge Partners. Challenge Partners is a practitioner-led education charity with a national network of more than 575 schools and 150 school trusts, which works to improve standards and reduce educational inequality. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
