PD encourages promotes, adopts and embeds a range of\nskills that allow children to be life-long learners, resilient, appreciate each other (respect), understand\nthe importance of equality, responsibility and honesty. All of which are&nbsp;part of\nour school&nbsp;values.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We support children to acquire the knowledge,\nunderstanding and skills they need to manage their lives, now and in the\nfuture. As part of a whole-school approach, PD education develops the qualities\nand attributes children need to thrive as individuals, family members and\nmembers of society. The benefits to pupils of such an approach are numerous as\nPD prepares them to manage many of the most critical opportunities, challenges\nand responsibilities they will face growing up in such rapidly changing and\nchallenging times.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The PD the school offers within the curriculum\nalso helps them to connect and apply the knowledge and understanding they learn\nin all subject areas that draws upon real-life situations while helping them to\nfeel safe and secure enough to fulfill their academic potential.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our school approach\npromotes&nbsp;effective relationships\nbetween all members of the school community. The promotion of pupils\u2019 personal\nand social development underpins other learning.
